Open a new image in PSP7,
transparent, size 300 x 300.
Click on flood fill. Set your foreground
color to #FF4040 and background at
white #FFFFFF.
 
 
Now click on the foreground,
and change to gradient.
Pick a bright red with white,
or download the one that I am using.
Extract it to your PSP7 Gradients folder.

Flood Fill your image with
the gradient.
 
 
Go to Image>Rotate>90 degrees.
 
 
 
Using the selection tool,
draw a rectangle approx.
80 x 200.
Go to Selections>Convert to
Seamless Pattern.
File>SaveAs>RedWhtGrad_1
(in PSP format.)
 
 
 
Deselect.
Go to Effects>Reflections Effect,
Pattern using these settings:
 
 
 
Go to Image>Rotate>90 Degrees.
Use the selection tool to draw
a rectangle approx. 100 x 100.
 
 
Go to Selections>Convert to
Seamless Pattern.
File>Save As>RedWhtGrad_2
(in PSP format.)
 
 
 
Close those out and open
a new image, transparent,
size 300 x 300.
Click on Flood Fill, and
set your colors as we did
above, then set the
gradient using these
settings:
 
 
 
Flood fill your image.
Go to Image>Rotate>90 degrees.
 
 
 
Use the selection tool to
draw a rectangle approx.
25 x 200.
Go to Selections>Convert to
Seamless Pattern.
File>Save As>Red_Grad
(in PSP format.)
