"Good Luck Tag"

*Below is my first tutorial using z' PSP8 program!*
*PSP7 users should achieve the same results.*
PLEASE NOTE:
I have my PSP8 set up so that the workspace
looks like PSP7. *By doing so, it might make a slight
difference in the wording/location of some of the effects used.
*If you have PSP7, you can do the same by going to
File>Workspace>Load.
*Rated: Intermediate.

Supplies Needed
*PSP8 or PSP7
*Font: Slugfest
Download it >>Here<<
*EyeCandy3 >>Here<<
>EyeCandy 4000 (Google search or try using Eyecandy3 linked above)
Download the >>Zip File<<

Open the patterns in PSP8 (or PSP7.)
Open the font, and minimize.

Open a new image in PSP8, size 500 x 500,
flood fill with white, name it background and X out.

Add a new layer and flood fill with the
IrishGreen Pattern>Angle: 0  Scale: 100.

Click on the text tool, and select the font Slugfest.
 Stroke width 2, size 80, Vector, Anti-alias
and auto kern selected.
Stroke and fill both set at white.
OK.

Using your cursor pull up and push in,
until you have the size you want.
(Not too much, or your finished
file size will be huge!)

Go to Layers>Convert to Raster Layer.
Selections>Select All>Selections Float.
Selections>Invert.

On your layers palette, click on the
IrishGreen pattern layer, and hit the
delete key one time.

Go to>Selections>Invert.

Make sure you are now on the text layer,

and hit the delete key one time.
Go to>Selections>Select None.

Delete that layer and click on the IrishGreen Pattern
layer, (which will be your text layer now),
and rename it IrishGreenGlassText.

Now, go to Effects>PlugIns>EyeCandy4000/Glass.
Apply the following:
*Settings: Select "Clear Glass."
*Lighting Tab: Default Settings
  Highlight Color: White
*Bevel Profile>Subtle Button.
*Basic Tab:
  Bevel Width: 15.00
  Smoothness: 75
  Bevel Placement: Inside Marquee
  Edge Darkening: 30
  Gradient Shading: 35
  Refraction: 50
  Opacity: 0
  Tinting: 50
  Glass Color: #00C800
  Ok.

Selections>Select All>Selections Float.
Add a new layer and click on the
flood fill tool>match mode set to none.
Fill with the GreenSparkle2 Pattern.

Go to>Color>Colorize
Hue: 88  Saturation: 167
Ok.
Selections>Select None.
Go to Layers>Arrange>Move up.
Rename this layer GreenSparkleName1.
