Part 2

*If the selected area around the globe
looks like it might be on the outside of the
 globe, go to Selections>Modify>Contract>1.

Now click on tubes, and select the snow tube.
Scale it to 80, and add the snow by
clicking on the top of the selected
area of the first globe layer.

X out that layer, and Un-X the first copy.
Apply the snow again, scaled to 85, but this time add it to the right side of the globe.

X out that layer, and Un-X the
last copy of the globe tube.
Apply the snow, from the left side
of the globe, scaled to 90.

While still selected,
go to the original (first)
bkgrd. layer
and X it out.

Click on the first tube layer,
add a new layer and flood fill
that area with the color you
used for the background #BFA89A.

On your layers palette,
drag that layer down below
the first GlobeTube layer.

Deselect.

Now we want to delete the very
first layer at the bottom,
the original Bkgrd. layer.

Next click on the globe_bkgrd layer,
and duplicate 2 times.

On your layers palette, move each
globe_bkgrd layer, so that one will
be under each of the 3 tube layers.
(As shown.)

X out all layers except the first
globe_bkgrd and the first tube.

Go to Layers>Merge>Merge Visible.
Rename the layer 1, and X out.

Un-X the next two layers.
Click on the copy of the globe_bkgrd.

Go to Layers>Merge>Merge Visible
Rename the layer 2.

X out that layer, and Un-X the last 2 layers.
Go to Layers>Merge>Merge Visible.
Rename the layer 3.
